The Al-Ameen College is built on foundations of Iman - Faith - that is acquired through the knowledge of the Al-Mighty Allah so as to appreciate all that has been prepared by Allah (SWT) for our existence. This faithful conviction translates is meant to radiate from us to the world that surrounds us as a consistent practice that brings about a positive change. Iman begets a peaceful world view that empowers the faithful to making the world a better place for all.
According to the Qur’an, Iman is conviction which is based upon reason and knowledge; a conviction that results from full mental acceptance and intellectual satisfaction; the kind of conviction that gives one a feeling of inner contentment and peace. And a Mu-min is one who accepts truth in such a way that it ensures his own peace and helps him to safeguard the peace and security of the rest of humankind. To this end, the Prophet, peace be upon him, was asked to describe a true believer. He (pbuh) responded:
“A Mu-min (the Faithful) are those whom humanity finds in them security.” He is also quoted to have said (pbuh), “You cannot complete your faith without loving for others what you love most for yourself.”
The Al-Mighty Allah (SWT) revealed in the Holy Qu’ran:
“Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from the many levels of darkness into the light.” (2:257)
The Al-Ameen College establishes an Islamic Ethos that permeates throughout the entire learning process. We commit in faith to bring comfort to the world we share with others seeking the greatest of rewards in this life and the Hereafter.
Allah, the Most High:
Say, "O My servants who have believed, be conscious of your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without hindrance." (39:10)
